Jennifer's Travels is a fully insured and commercially licensed, family run business. We offer for hire a beautiful, colourfully styled canal barge, full of character. Our barge is an easily managed all steel boat, built in a traditional stern cruiser style, with a large deck to the stern, and a second deck at the bow.

It has been designed and specifically built for holiday cruising. It offers all the comforts of home and sleeps up to four adults comfortably. It has a large accommodation section. The galley has a gas four ring hob with grill and separate oven. There is a fridge/ freezer and sink, and we supply your plates, pots and utensils. The WC comprises of a toilet, whb, and full step in shower with hot and cold water. There is a stereo system fitted with cd/mp3/usb compatibility. A peat burning stove takes care of any colder nights.

Barge travel is a more environmentally friendly way to holiday. All electrical power consumed on the barge is generated by its engines and is stored in batteries. The hot water supply is also heated by the engine and stored in a tank. The boat is powered by a reliable economical engine fitted new in late 2009 which meets EU requirements on sound and exhaust emissions.To cut down on suitcase carrying we can provide bed linen and towels for your holiday. Bicycles can be hired, handy for either leisurely cycling on the towpath or collecting supplies from villages and towns along your route.
